Check-In/Check-Out
Check-In time is 3pm. Check-Out time is 12pm. Early Check-In is by request only and not guaranteed. Late Check-Out must be coordinated with the hotel if it is available. Guests must be at least 18 years old to check into a hotel. A valid credit card must be presented at Check-In.
Deposits & Guarantees
A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the room. We require a one day deposit at time of booking. Special event periods may require an actual deposit depending on the time of booking and will be stated during the booking process.
Cancellations must be made before 5:00 PM 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a charge of one night’s room and tax fees. An early departure fee of will be charged if guests check out prior to their departure date. Policies can vary for specials, packages, and prepaid reservations. Please review the booking description of your reservation.

Pets
We are pet friendly. 
No pets are allowed in restaurants or bars

Smoking
Smoking is NOT permitted in the rooms. However, smoking is permitted in outdoor areas and on the balconies of each room according to Greek Law.
Should anyone smoke in your room during your stay, an additional 200 euro charge will be applied to your account for the cost of purification. We hope you will respect the fact that many individuals today have severe allergies. Thank you for your cooperation.

Pre – Authorization Process
Pre-Authorization in Hotels​

To follow proper card acceptance and validation rules defined by credit card associations, hotels are required to pre-authorize all provided credit cards.  A pre authorization will place the amount in a holding-state and temporarily reduce one’s credit card limit, but it is NOT a transaction charge.  Depending on one’s credit card bank’s set up, the pre-authorized amount will drop off typically after 14 days.

​During check – out, the bank is contacted and asked to release the hold .The bank statement may temporarily show an apparent “double-billing”. One is a hold and the other is a charge. This process can take some days to show up on the statement.
​Rest Assured, this amount is NOT a double charge. The same day of check out, the bank is notified to drop the hold.

Lost & Found
We keep a record of all items found and keep them in safe keeping. The Margi Hotel cannot incur the charge of mailing lost items. It is the responsibility of the guest to contact us for a lost item and handle the delivery.
